This about sums it up...

I'd forgotten how much I love the movie Clockwatchers, it's a pretty comprehensive take on temp life. Not that I'm complaining, my current assignment is with some really nice people. I'm just up at the front desk, alone, being seduced to sleep by the buzz of the flourescent lights. The office is library quiet, the call volume is really low, and the only people that walk through the door are FedEx and UPS. So without music or feeling ok whipping out a book or magazine, it's just you and me. Whomever you are.
